Philip Thomas

Recognized and awarded by the WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association), I get to document a couples day from start to finish using available light, tone and composition.

Born in England, I traveled the world before moving in 2006 from the UK to San Antonio, Texas with my wife Marcie (she's a native San Antonio, Texas gal).

I've always been interested in photography and multimedia. Photographing since 1991, I first ran a small portrait studio and then found something I loved, working as a full-time photographer on a local tabloid newspaper.

By 1994 and in my early twenties, I decided to travel the world and went to work for some of the greatest cruise lines - QE2, Holland America, Disney, and Royal Caribbean - capturing images from all over the globe and running the photo department..

It was during my travels in 2002 that I met my wife and best friend, Marcie, while working together on Royal Caribbean. Marcie brought me to the Alamo City and it was here in February 2006 that we tied the knot. We now have two wonderful little girls, Lily and Emma.

When I'm not traveling, meeting couples, vendors, editing, shooting or breathing and sleeping weddings, I'm changing diapers. Life is amazingly fun with these two little kiddos.

I love to run, travel, cook, a mac computer geek and just shoot pictures for fun. I have about a gazzilion (is that even a word) pictures documenting the lives of my two little ones.

With almost twenty years of experience and shooting weddings since 2006, I'm available to shoot weddings from my base here in San Antonio to everywhere.
