San Antonio Texas Wedding Photographers
I’m a Brit and a San Antonio based wedding photographer. I document weddings locally here in the Alamo City, in Houston, throughout Texas and destination weddings everywhere. I specialize in shooting unscripted story-telling, avoiding cliches and capturing peak moments of life.
Welcome and congratulations to you both. I’m so glad and humbled you’re considering me as your wedding photographer. Since 2006 a San Antonio wedding photographers born and raised in a small city south of London, England. I aim to provide world class wedding photography but in a unconventional style. I’m fortunate and blessed to have garnered numerous international multi-award winning via the world-wide WPJA and ISPWP competitions.
A self-taught photographer, I turned pro in 1991. Getting my early start in news photojournalism background, I’ve travelled the world for a decade visiting over 50 countries.
I’m now devoted to shooting weddings in San Antonio and throughout Texas in cities like Houston, Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas and the Gulf Coast. These days, I shoot all over the U.S.A., including travel fees in my packages. I’m fortunate to capture many multi-cultural weddings and I have a diverse portfolio from traveling the world, always with a 35mm camera and a roll of film. I attract a couple that appreciate the arts and a hands off, documentary approach.
24 hour PASSION, along with coffee (or hot tea), wife and children, I freely consults other photographers enter the market and strategize fledgling careers.
Some of my favorite places are low-key backyard weddings, Canyon and Medina Lake, small and opulent boutique hotels, many Hill Country weddings, grand and ornate locations like the Chapel of the Incarnate Word and unique venues throughout Texas and the Gulf coast.
I embrace the challenge of capturing your wedding day and those fleeting moments which I’m well known for, be it a small intimate wedding or a luxurious grander setting. It’s fine art with less posing.
Destination Wedding Photography
Throughout my 20 year professional career, I’ve traveled the world extensively. For the last eight years I’ve shot hundreds of weddings and many destination weddings. Even if I’m not close to you, don’t worry, Skype or FaceTime is kinda normal way of communicating these days. I of course am always very happy to meet face to face at my studio off Stone Oak, San Antonio, Texas.
Primarily a San Antonio and Houston wedding photographer, I do travel all over the U.S.
I’ve been traveling all my life when on my fathers suggestion, I thought I’d try my hand at ship travel. The year was 1994 and for just over a decade, I traveled the world literally twice around visiting over 30 countries and crossed the Atlantic between New York and Southampton countless times on the stately and famous liner, Queen Elizabeth II or as many will remember the QE2. So, I caught the travel bug early!
Now, I capture weddings in the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Los Angeles, New York, Mexico, Europe, United Kingdom (my home country before moving to Texas in 2006), South Asia and wherever clients takes me. Some of the most beautiful places visited include Aruba Jamaica Italy, Greece, Australia, Hong Kong, India’s sub-continent and of-course my home country of England. The question I get asked often is where my most favorite place visited. Without much hesitation it’s South Asia. So, British passport in hand, I can fly out of San Antonio or Houston. My wedding rates include travel making it easy to fit pricing into your budget. Destination fees include hotel for two or three nights, flights if applicable.
